Traditional Swedish Massage — therapeutic & calming.
My foundational training in Traditional Swedish Massage was undertaken at the internationally recognised Clare Maxwell Hudson School in London. This classic form of massage uses long, sweeping strokes and stretches combined with kneading, rolling and frictions techniques, and is therapeutic and calming nature. It is a great way to relax and unwind, eases aches and pains, and can help reduce symptoms of depression, stress, and anxiety.
Scar Therapy Massage — releases fascia & treats scar tissue.
Scar therapy can help loosen and release tight scar tissue to reduce discomfort. Treatment can be beneficial on both new and old scar tissue. It can take place following any type of open or keyhole surgery or for a client with scars from trauma injury including, for example, breast surgery, C-Section, oncology, orthopaedic surgery, burn, hand trauma, cosmetic surgery. With a holistic individualised treatment approach, I will select the best options to deliver a personalised treatment for your scar. This usually includes a combination of fascial release & scar tissue massage.
Deep Tissue Massage — relieves pain, knots & tension. Perfect for achy backs & shoulders.
This powerful and intense form of massage uses a flowing range of deep tissue techniques combined with firm pressure and slow strokes, triggers and stretches to massage deep layers of muscle and fascia. Used to treat musculoskeletal issues, such as strains and injuries. These movements are designed to relieve muscle pain, knots, and tension, increase mobility and movement range, and improve circulation and adapted in response to your body and needs. Deep tissue massage encourages release, relaxation, and balance.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) (non-medical) —cleanses, relaxes, relieves pain & boost immunity.
MLD, a specialised form of massage has a powerful cleansing, relaxing, pain relieving & immunological effects. It aids recovery from illness, injury, infection, or surgery and can be applied to a wide range of physical conditions to great effect. MLD involves long, gentle, flowing light strokes, passive movement of the limbs and joints and pumping-type compressions and can be applied to a wide range of physical conditions to great effect. It is designed to encourage the movement of lymph to nodal areas of the body where it is filtered. This helps the body maintain proper lymph and blood circulation, body fluid balance, and immune function. It is particularly useful for the treatment of lymphoedema and swelling that is often seen in response to cancer treatments such as radiotherapy. I offer MLD as a standalone treatment or combined with Scar Therapy Massage.
Myofascial Release Massage (MFR) — releases pain & tension
Myofascial Release (MFR) is a powerful method of releasing pain and tension in the body. This treatment can target pain in the areas of the body such as the back, neck, hips etc. and gives great results. I offer MFR as a standalone treatment or combined with a Deep Tissue or Swedish massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage massage (MLD), and Scar Therapy Massage.

Focussing on the scalp, face, neck and shoulders Indian Head Massage increases circulation, stimulates lymphatic drainage, relieves headaches and migraines, exfoliates the scalp and nourishes the head and hair, and can alleviate symptoms of stress, tension and anxiety.
